Latest Food Prices in Central Java Region: Red Chili and Buffalo Meat Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have risen compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (October 7, 2025) at 09.53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption sugar, packaged wheat flour, premium rice, broiler eggs, and broiler meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as garlic bulb, Minyakita, SPHP rice, skipjack tuna, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp2,263 (4.78%) to Rp49,586 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of garlic bulb experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp1,013 (3.1%) to Rp31,704 per kg.
