Bulk Cooking Oil Prices in Traditional Markets March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:45 WIB, the daily bulk cooking oil price in traditional markets of the Riau Islands Province has not changed compared to the previous day, similar to the price developments in the last week.

Meanwhile, over the last month, the daily bulk cooking oil price in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp18.2 thousand.

Over the last three months in the Riau Islands, the daily bulk cooking oil price in traditional markets has increased by 8.55% from the previously traded Rp16.95 thousand.

The record increase in daily bulk cooking oil prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2016 with a 60.26% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in December 2016 with a -36.24% decrease.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in the Riau Islands Province show that ten commodities have decreased and 19 others have increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Granulated Sugar, Red Onion, Medium-sized Garlic, Super I Quality Rice, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Fresh Broiler Chicken Eggs, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Medium-sized Red Onion, Garlic, and Local Granulated Sugar.

6. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp94.9 thousand per kg (up 78.05%)
7. Granulated Sugar per Kg Rp17.05 thousand per kg (down 1.16%)
8. Green Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp96.4 thousand per kg (up 88.28%)
9. Cooking Oil per Kg Rp19.45 thousand per kg (up 2.91%)
10. Medium I Quality Rice per Kg Rp16.15 thousand per kg (up 20.52%)
11. Red Onion per Kg Rp36.15 thousand per kg (down 22.09%)
12. Medium-sized Garlic per Kg Rp33.25 thousand per kg (down 0.89%)
13. Medium II Quality Rice per Kg Rp13.5 thousand per kg (up 1.5%)
14. Super I Quality Rice per Kg Rp16.55 thousand per kg (down 4.89%)
