Today's Food Prices (05/3) in Bali: Chicken Meat, Red Chili, and Bird's Eye Chili Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Bali today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (March 5, 2026) at 1:56 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 increased and 3 decreased in price.

The commodities that saw price increases are large red chilies, red bird's eye chilies, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as curly red chilies, shallots, and wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies had the highest increase of Rp247 (0.68%) to Rp36,370 per kg. Curly red chilies had the sharpest decrease of Rp592 (1.37%) to Rp42,531 per kg.
