Food Prices in Central Java Friday (Oct 17, 2025), How Much Does Buffalo Meat Cost?

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (Oct 17, 2025) at 09:53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 16 increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include medium rice, garlic (bulb), shallots, SPHP rice, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken meat, premium rice, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt saw the highest increase of Rp278 (2.58%) to Rp11,038 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp3,634 (6.98%) to Rp48,444 per kg.
