Today's Food Price Update in Jambi: Rice, Chili, and Onion Prices Drop (Saturday, February 3, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (February 3, 2024) at 12:34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, Indian mackerel, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium-grain rice, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp2,570 (5.8%) to Rp46,880 per kg. Milkfish prices decreased the most, by Rp2,810 (9.14%) to Rp27,930 per kg.
