Today's Food Prices in West Java: Chili, Oil, and Onion Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (5/8/2024) at 08.39 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are red chili peppers and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken meat, granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp1,950 (2.66%) to Rp75,240 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili peppers experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp3,850 (9.02%) to Rp38,810 per kg.
