IPSOS surveyed 19,524 respondents across 29 countries, including Indonesia. The online survey was conducted from August 26 to September 9, 2022.

In this survey, IPSOS explored the perceptions of citizens in each country regarding social, economic, and political issues, including rising inflation rates, rising global commodity prices, and the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war.

The results show that globally, 67% of respondents consider the economic situation in their country to be poor. However, 33% of respondents assessed their country's economy as being in good condition.

Respondents who rated their country's economic conditions as poor were most prevalent in Argentina (97%), followed by South Korea (89%), and Japan (88%).

Meanwhile, respondents who viewed their country's economic situation as good were most numerous in Saudi Arabia (95%), followed by India (79%), and Indonesia (64%).
