Food Prices in West Java, Wednesday (18/12): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (18/12/2024) at 12:46 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, iodized fine salt, shallots, milkfish, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp280 (4.9%) to Rp5,990 per kg. The price of bulk cooking oil saw the largest decrease, dropping by Rp70 (0.38%) to Rp18,250 per liter.
