Grade 1 Beef Prices in Traditional Markets for the April 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 12:44 WIB, the daily Grade 1 beef price in traditional markets in Papua province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price trend over the past week.

As for the price over the past month, the daily Grade 1 beef price in traditional markets has remained unchanged from the previously recorded Rp141.9 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily Grade 1 beef price in traditional markets in Papua over the past three months has decreased by 0.56%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily Grade 1 beef price in traditional markets in Papua province was traded at Rp142.7 thousand.

The record increase in daily Grade 1 beef prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2020 with an increase of 27.27%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2020 with a decrease of -22.12%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in Papua today show that eight commodities have decreased and eight others have increased. The staple foods with price decreases are Bird's Eye Chili, Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Curly Red Chili, Green Bird's Eye Chili, Rice, Super I Quality Rice, and Chicken Meat.
