Banten Regional Food Prices Friday (3/10): Cayenne Pepper Price Up, Red Chili Price Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (3/10/2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler chicken meat, packaged cooking oil, red cayenne pepper, garlic bulbs, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption sugar, SPHP rice, skipjack tuna, pure beef, and corn at farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper commodity saw the highest increase of Rp1,460 (3.52%) to Rp42,895 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish price saw the sharpest decrease of Rp2,124 (5.75%) to Rp34,789 per kg.
