Food Prices Today, December 31, in DKI Jakarta: Oil Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (31/12/2025) at 14:44 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are shallots, imported soybeans, Honan garlic, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chilies, broiler chicken meat, large red chilies, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic prices rose the highest by Rp1,083 (2.71%) to Rp41,000 per kg. Red bird's eye chili prices fell the deepest by Rp4,500 (5.9%) to Rp71,750 per kg.

6. Honan Garlic: Rp41,000 per kg (up 2.71%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,867 per kg (down 0.61%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp31,700 per kg (stable)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,550 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,533 per liter (stable)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp18,275 per kg (stable)
12. Premium Rice: Rp16,503 per kg (stable)
13. Minyakita: Rp16,205 per liter (up 0.31%)
