Latest Food Prices in West Java: Chili and Egg Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (1/12/2024) at 15.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, premium rice, SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest increase of Rp220 (0.83%) to Rp26,580 per kg. Red chili saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp660 (1.91%) to Rp33,860 per kg.
