Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Sugar Prices Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (3/9/2025) at 11:31 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, consumption sugar, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, red onion, curly red chili, red cayenne pepper, and kembung fish decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Consumption sugar commodity jumped the highest by Rp252 (1.43%) to Rp17,917 per kg. The price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp3,000 (6.77%) to Rp41,333 per kg.
