Current Food Prices in West Java: Onion, Egg, and Sugar Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (31/7/2024) at 08.39 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, broiler chicken meat, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, farmer-level corn, SPHP rice, shallots, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp1,930 (2.61%) to Rp75,850 per kg. The price of mackerel decreased the most by Rp2,600 (6.61%) to Rp36,720 per kg.
