Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chicken Price Up, Cooking Oil Price Down (Wednesday, February 14, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (February 14, 2024) at 13:21 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, red chili peppers, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest increase of Rp1,100 (4.15%), reaching Rp27,610 per kg. Bulk cooking oil prices saw the lowest decrease of Rp120 (0.8%), reaching Rp14,900 per liter.
