Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chili, Oil, and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (18/12/2024) at 13.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, shallots, chicken eggs, red chilies, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), mackerel, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most, by Rp2,710 (8.95%) to Rp32,980 per kg. The price of mackerel decreased the most sharply, by Rp400 (1.12%) to Rp35,300 per kg.
