West Java Food Prices Thursday (4/7): Chicken, Onion, and Salt Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (4/7/2024) at 13:42 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 17 commodities increased in price and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, medium-grain rice, broiler chicken, red chilies, and dry soybeans (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp1,740 (4.35%) to Rp41,730 per kg. Shallot prices decreased the most, by Rp160 (0.5%) to Rp31,770 per kg.
