Food Prices Wednesday (29/10) D.I. Yogyakarta Region: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Red Chili Falls

Prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today are observed to have risen compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (29/10/2025) at 14:30 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 saw an increase and 10 saw a decrease.

Commodities with rising prices include shallots, skipjack tuna, curly red chili, Minyakita cooking oil, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, consumption salt, pure beef, large red chili, and SPHP rice have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp639 (2.63%) to Rp24,955 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped most sharply by Rp2,285 (4.47%) to Rp48,786 per kg.
