West Java Food Prices Today: Sugar Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (29/12/2024) at 09.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), medium-grade rice, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red chilies, garlic bulbs, pure beef, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of dry soybean (import) increased the most, by Rp160 (1.72%) to Rp9,470 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most sharply, by Rp4,180 (7.63%) to Rp50,620 per kg.
