The Price of Grade 2 Beef in Central Sulawesi is the Highest in Indonesia (Friday, June 2, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of grade 2 beef (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 154,310 per kg, as of Friday, June 2, 2023. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to last week's average of Rp 155,190 per kg.

The daily price of grade 2 beef in modern markets in Central Sulawesi was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 189,450 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of grade 2 beef in this province is higher; previously recorded at Rp 149,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in East Kalimantan, the price of grade 2 beef was sold at Rp 179,450 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of grade 2 beef in Central Java was Rp 168,550 per kg, Bali Rp 158,900 per kg, and East Java Rp 150,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, five provinces had grade 2 beef sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest grade 2 beef prices were Jambi, Bangka Belitung Islands, and West Papua.
