Boloang Mongondow Residents' Food Consumption Deficiency Rate Rises 6.11% in 2025

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the prevalence of undernourishment (PoU) in Boloang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi reached 6.11% in 2025.

This figure increased by 0.73% from the previous year's 5.38%, while over the last 5 years it rose by 1.47%.

Indonesia's average PoU in 2025 was 7.89%. This means that the PoU in Boloang Mongondow Regency is lower than the national average.

The National Food Agency (Bapanas) defines PoU as a condition where a person regularly consumes an insufficient amount of food to meet the energy needs for a normal, active, and healthy life.

This indicator can be used as a tool to observe food and nutrition security conditions.

This means that the number of Boloang Mongondow Regency residents who consume food but lack sufficient energy needs does not reach 6.11% of the total population.
