The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded three districts/cities in Riau with a weekly average vaccination rate above the provincial average of 3,240.67 doses as of Friday, June 17, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with an average exceeding 4,000 doses are Rokan Hulu, Rokan Hilir, and Kampar, with 6,305 doses, 5,382 doses, and 4,135 doses respectively.
Rokan Hulu recorded the highest weekly average vaccination rate in Riau with 6,305 doses. As of yesterday, a total of 639,640 doses have been used. National dashboard data shows that the region has achieved 76.3% full vaccination coverage.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in six days. This remaining usage time is calculated based on the available stock of 39,306 doses and the highest vaccine usage in Riau.
Rokan Hilir follows in second place. Full vaccination coverage in this district has reached 81.67%. Compared to the previous week, the weekly average vaccination rate in this district reached 5,382 doses. The available vaccine stock in this district will run out in eight days. This remaining usage time is calculated based on the available stock of 43,694 doses.
Among the top five, besides the two regions above, is Kampar with a weekly average vaccination of 4,135 doses, achieving 67.18% full vaccination coverage; Indragiri Hilir with 3,184 doses and 77.65% full vaccination coverage; and Bengkalis with 2,489 doses and 76.57% full vaccination coverage.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
