North Sulawesi Province ranks among the lowest 10 provinces in terms of first-dose COVID-19 vaccination coverage for the general public. This ranking is based on weekly growth.
As of August 19, 2021, 217,430 people in North Sulawesi had received their first dose of the vaccine. Compared to the previous week, this represents a 4% increase. The week before, only 207,680 people had been vaccinated.
Out of 34 provinces, North Sulawesi ranks 33rd in terms of weekly vaccination growth. The top five provinces with the highest weekly growth were East Kalimantan (73.7%), West Papua (54.5%), Central Sulawesi (54.2%), North Kalimantan (47.9%), and Lampung (32.6%).
Over the past seven days, an average of 1,392 people in North Sulawesi received their first dose per day. Currently, a total of 779,430 people in the province have received their first dose, and 298,320 have received their second dose.
