The number of people in East Nusa Tenggara who have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine has reached 3.53 million.

As of Wednesday, April 20, 2022, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in East Nusa Tenggara province has reached 92.25 percent. This figure is equivalent to 3.53 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 3.83 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 66.26 percent of the target.

Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 32,220 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 32,220 people (136.88 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 131.01 percent or 42,210 people were vaccinated.

For public officials, the target was 402,220 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 332,330 people (82.62 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 71.98 percent, or 289,530 people.

For the elderly, the target was 405,570 people. For the first dose, 258,320 people were vaccinated (63.69 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 44.37 percent, or 179,940 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 2.41 million people. For the first dose, vaccination was reportedly given to 1.93 million people (80.04 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 57.64 percent, or 1.39 million people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 582,840 people. For the first dose, 587,850 people were vaccinated (100.86 percent of the target). The second dose reached 76.33 percent, or 444,910 people.
