As of Sunday, October 24, 2021, a total of 183.38 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 113.19 million first doses, 68.05 million second doses, and 2.15 million doses administered through community-based vaccination programs.
A total of 2.01 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (136.62% of the target), and 1.88 million have received their second dose (128.29% of the target). Furthermore, 1.11 million healthcare workers (75.33% of the target) have received a third dose, as recommended by the government.
For public sector workers, 28 million people have received their first dose (161.62% of the target), and 22.48 million (129.73% of the target) have received their second dose.
Initially, the elderly were prioritized. To date, 8.05 million elderly individuals (37.37% of the target) have received their first dose, and 5.04 million (23.39% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 70.1 million people (50.46% of the target) have received their first dose, and 34.58 million (25.19% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.87 million (14.49% of the target) have received their first dose, and 3.07 million (11.48% of the target) have received their second dose.
