Vaccination Update in Riau Province as of Friday, October 29, 2021

As of today, Friday, October 29, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Riau Province has reached 37.48 percent. This figure is equivalent to 1.81 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 4.84 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 24.23 percent of the target as of yesterday.

Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group has a target of 32,920 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 32,920 people (135.39 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 127.3 percent or 41,910 people were vaccinated.

Public service personnel vaccination targeted 349,420 people. The first dose vaccination has reportedly reached 575,860 people (164.81 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 137.7 percent, or 481,160 people.

Next, the elderly vaccination targeted 322,470 people. For the first dose, it has been given to 68,320 people (21.19 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 14.98 percent or 48,310 people have been vaccinated.

The general vulnerable population vaccination targeted 3.45 million people. For the first dose, vaccination has reportedly been given to 1.05 million people (32.02 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 16.94 percent or 536,340 people have been vaccinated.

Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years. In this region, the target set is 684,190 people. For the first dose, it has been given to 20,320 people (2.97 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 2.48 percent or 16,990 people have been vaccinated.
