This figure is equivalent to 11.21 million vaccine recipients out of the targeted 8.4 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 106.83 percent of the target.
Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 112,300 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 112,300 people (162.29 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 153.9 percent or 172,830 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 1.98 million people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 2.79 million people (140.55 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 118.5 percent, or 2.35 million people.
The elderly target was 761,280 people. For the first dose, it was administered to 724,460 people (95.16 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 84.9 percent, or 646,330 people.
The vulnerable general public target was 4.54 million people. For the first dose, vaccination was reportedly administered to 6.39 million people (145.72 percent of the target). The second dose reached 110.69 percent, or 4.8 million people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 1 million people. The first dose was administered to 902,300 people (90.22 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 77.46 percent, or 774,720 people.
