The United Kingdom ranks first, with a weekly growth of 19.57 percent in Omicron cases. GISAID recorded 433,560 Omicron cases in the UK, a daily increase of 2.51 percent compared to the previous day.
The United States follows, with a weekly growth of 17.37 percent in Omicron cases. Daily figures show a 1.16 percent increase compared to the previous day, totaling 358,460 cases.
Denmark reported 71,831 Omicron cases (a 21.5% increase), Germany saw a 30.26 percent increase to 48,960 cases compared to the previous week, and Canada reported 31,396 Omicron cases (a 38.2% increase).
In Indonesia, the number of Omicron cases reached 5,080, a 0.69 percent increase compared to the previous day. Since its initial detection, the number of Omicron cases in Indonesia has steadily risen.
