Several districts/cities in Jambi province still record quite low second-dose vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Sarolangun Regency, Sungai Penuh City, and Kerinci Regency.
As of yesterday, these three areas have only completed 243,970 second doses out of the targeted 488,280 vaccine recipients in their vaccination program.
Sarolangun Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, only 47% of the target population in this region has received their second dose, the lowest among the 11 other districts/cities. The first dose has reached 76.77%, or 270,840 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this regency targets 216,780 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in Sarolangun was 1,098 participants. The current vaccine stock is 11,104 doses.
Next is Sungai Penuh City. This area has the second-lowest second-dose vaccination rate. With a target of 75,717 vaccine recipients, 51.99% or 39,365 participants have been vaccinated.
The first dose has reached 84.04%, or 104,190 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in Sungai Penuh City was 515 participants. The current vaccine stock is 6,958 doses.
Lastly, Kerinci Regency is ranked third. With a target of 195,780 vaccine recipients, 52.46% or 102,710 participants have received their second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in Kerinci was 1,449 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 3,702 doses.
At the provincial level, Jambi's total first-dose vaccination has reached 91.16%, or 2.45 million vaccine recipients. The second dose has reached 66.11%, covering 1.78 million vaccine recipients.
