Several districts/cities in Southeast Sulawesi province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Konawe Kepulauan Regency, Buton Selatan Regency, and Wakatobi Regency.
As of yesterday's vaccination program data, these three regencies have only completed 27,127 second doses out of the expected target of 185,210 vaccine recipients.
Konawe Kepulauan Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, only 12% of the target population in this region has received their second dose, the lowest among the other 17 districts/cities. The first dose has reached 26.2%, or 10,859 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this regency targets 28,015 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Konawe Kepulauan last week was 101 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 8,636 doses.
Next is Buton Selatan Regency. For the second dose, this regency has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 70,764 vaccine recipients, only 14.8% or 10,465 recipients have received their second dose.
The first dose has reached 34.4%, or 35,235 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Buton Selatan last week was 458 participants. The current vaccine stock is 6,450 doses.
Wakatobi Regency is ranked third. With a target of 86,431 vaccine recipients, only 15.4% or 13,309 recipients have received their second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Wakatobi last week was 464 participants. The current vaccine stock is 20,538 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in Southeast Sulawesi has reached 43.51%, or 871,360 vaccine recipients. The second dose has reached 25.48%, covering 510,330 vaccine recipients.
