The five districts/cities with the highest agglomeration death rate due to COVID-19, exceeding 0.35 per 100,000 population per week, are Tomohon City, Kutai Barat, Malaka, Salatiga City, and Banda Aceh City, with respective rates of 0.89, 0.66, 0.49, 0.49, and 0.35 per 100,000 population per week.
National COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease in the agglomeration death rate due to COVID-19 in most districts/cities outside Java. No districts/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to COVID-19 than previously recorded.
Several areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rates due to COVID-19 include Tomohon City, Kutai Barat, and Malaka, with rates of 0.89, 0.66, and 0.49 per 100,000 population per week, respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
