Today's Food Prices (07/1) in DKI Jakarta: Red Chili Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (7/1/2026) at 14:44 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increasing prices are large red chili and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic, broiler eggs, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp1,000 (2.03%) to Rp50,167 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Honan garlic fell the sharpest by Rp433 (1.06%) to Rp40,317 per kg.
