Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 164,920 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 164,920 people (147.95 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 145.47 percent or 239,900 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 2.21 million people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 2.22 million people (100.34 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 92.9 percent, or 2.06 million people.
The elderly target was 3.68 million people. For the first dose, it was administered to 2.94 million people (79.96 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 66.02 percent, or 2.43 million people.
The general vulnerable population target was 19.3 million people. For the first dose, vaccination was reportedly administered to 14.89 million people (77.37 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 67.15 percent, or 12.92 million people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years. The target in this region was 3.37 million people. The first dose was administered to 3.26 million people (96.65 percent of the target). The second dose reached 89.45 percent, or 3.02 million people.
