Several districts/cities in Bangka Belitung Islands province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include South Bangka Regency, Bangka Regency, and Central Bangka Regency.
As of Friday, October 15, 2021, these three regencies had only completed 272,400 doses of the first vaccine shot out of the targeted 564,390 vaccine recipients.
South Bangka Regency is ranked first (lowest). As of yesterday, this region only recorded 40.24% vaccination. This is the lowest figure compared to the other seven districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 155,950 participants. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 1,191 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 43,382 doses.
Next is Bangka Regency, ranked second lowest. With a vaccination target of 255,160 participants, only 48.03% or 122,560 participants have been vaccinated. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 1,916 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 61,457 doses.
Then there is Central Bangka Regency, ranked third lowest. With a vaccination target of 153,280 participants, only 56.82% or 87,086 participants have been vaccinated. The average weekly vaccination rate in this region last week was 1,686 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 63,288 doses.
Regarding the provincial-level vaccination achievement, the total first dose vaccination in Bangka Belitung Islands Province has reached 56.47%, covering 642,540 vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 31.82%, covering 362,020 vaccine recipients.
