Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency had the highest number of COVID-19 deaths, with 2.03 deaths per 100,000 people per week. The number of COVID-19 deaths in this regency shows no improvement, as it increased compared to the previous week, which reported zero COVID-19 deaths.
A similar situation occurred in Musi Rawas Utara Regency, which recorded one death per 100,000 people per week due to COVID-19. This regency also saw a higher number of COVID-19 deaths compared to the previous week, which reported zero deaths due to COVID-19. Pagar Alam City follows, recording 0.7 deaths per 100,000 people per week due to COVID-19.
Ogan Ilir Regency and Palembang City follow, recording 0.45 and 0.17 deaths per 100,000 people per week due to COVID-19, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of COVID-19 deaths across the 34 provinces is currently on an upward trend compared to the previous week, which was only 0.08 deaths per 100,000 people per week.
