The top five, starting from the highest, are Balikpapan City, Gunungsitoli City, Jayapura City, Purwakarta, and Garut, with ratios of 489.91 percent, 291.16 percent, 253.9 percent, 245.57 percent, and 217.97 percent, respectively.
Balikpapan City ranks first. With a population of 646,020, the weekly testing percentage is recorded at 489.91 percent. The latest positive rate is 0.38 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Next is Gunungsitoli City. The population in this region is recorded at 147,940. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly testing percentage is 291.16 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0.23 percent, or higher than the previous week's percentage.
Then, Jayapura City recorded 253.9 percent testing, Purwakarta 245.57 percent, and Garut's weekly testing percentage was recorded at 217.97 percent.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 127 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reporting higher weekly testing percentages than before. Meanwhile, 239 other regencies/cities recorded lower weekly testing percentages compared to the previous week.
