As of Tuesday, September 28, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Central Kalimantan province has reached 36.39 percent. This figure is equivalent to 741,020 vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.04 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 21.56 percent of the target as of yesterday.

Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group has a target of 19,930 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 19,930 people (122.07 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 115.88 percent or 23,090 people were vaccinated.

Public sector workers have a target of 198,970 people. The first dose vaccination has reportedly reached 279,170 people (140.3 percent of the target), and the second dose has reached 99.19 percent, or 197,370 people.

For the elderly, the target is 141,020 people. For the first dose, 46,920 people have received the vaccine (33.27 percent of the target). The second dose has reached 24.22 percent, or 34,150 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target is 1.39 million people. For the first dose, vaccination has reportedly reached 344,490 people (27.31 percent of the target). The second dose has reached 12.89 percent, or 158,960 people.

Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 283,580 people. For the first dose, 10,230 people have received the vaccine (3.61 percent of the target). The second dose has reached 1.73 percent, or 4,916 people.
