Several districts/cities in Jambi province still record quite low second-dose vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Kerinci Regency, Sarolangun Regency, and Merangin Regency.
As of yesterday's data, these three regencies have only completed 227,910 second doses out of the expected target of 677,890 vaccine recipients.
Kerinci Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, only 28.7 percent of the target population in this region has received the second dose of the vaccine. This is the lowest rate among the other 11 districts/cities. The first dose has reached 45.3 percent, or 145,740 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this regency targets 195,780 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Kerinci last week was 953 participants. The current vaccine stock is 17,470 doses.
Next is Sarolangun Regency. For the second dose, this regency has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 216,780 vaccine recipients, only 33.7 percent, or 72,986 participants, have received the second dose.
The first dose has reached 57.6 percent, or 199,010 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Sarolangun last week was 1,146 participants. The current vaccine stock is 5,584 doses.
Lastly, Merangin Regency is ranked third. With a target of 265,330 vaccine recipients, only 37.2 percent, or 98,746 participants, have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Merangin last week was 1,426 participants. The current vaccine stock is 29,440 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in Jambi has reached 68.95 percent, or 1.85 million vaccine recipients. The second dose has reached 48.44 percent, or 1.3 million vaccine recipients.
