Several districts/cities in East Java province still record a relatively low second dose vaccination rate compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Pamekasan Regency, Bangkalan Regency, and Lumajang Regency.
As of yesterday's data, these three regions have only completed 1.23 million doses for the second dose vaccination, out of the targeted 2.36 million vaccine recipients.
Pamekasan Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second dose vaccination in this region has only reached 33.58 percent, the lowest among the other 38 districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first dose has reached 72.97 percent, or 718,070 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city targets 652,820 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in Pamekasan was 862 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 42,030 doses.
Next is Bangkalan Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this region has the second lowest rate. With a target of 825,180 vaccine recipients, 58.79 percent or 485,100 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 77.36 percent, or 1.14 million vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in Bangkalan was 1,987 participants. The current vaccine stock is 60,420 doses.
Lumajang Regency is ranked third. With a target of 880,790 vaccine recipients, 59.73 percent or 526,090 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in Lumajang was 1,909 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 36,250 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in East Java has reached 85.2 percent, or 30.11 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 73.025 percent, reaching 25.81 million vaccine recipients.
