Compared to other regions in East Java, the regency experienced the highest surge in vaccination implementation over the past week. This growth was driven by the local government's efforts to catch up on the vaccination program, which is still below the provincial average. Currently, the first dose vaccination coverage in Trenggalek Regency has only reached 24.77%, while the average for regencies/cities in the province is above 47.47%.
According to daily data released by the Ministry of Health, the weekly average vaccination in this region is 2,135 doses. This figure is below the average for regencies/cities in East Java. With an available vaccine stock of 23,783 doses, it is estimated that the vaccine in Trenggalek Regency will run out within the next 11 days.
Regarding provincial-level vaccination achievements, the total first dose vaccination in East Java has reached 39.7 percent, covering 12.63 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 21.05 percent, covering 6.7 million vaccine recipients.
