Daily Sugar Price at Modern Markets, December 2023-2024

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of granulated sugar in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Islands Province is recorded at Rp15,750 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the last month, the daily price of granulated sugar in modern markets has increased from the previous record of Rp15,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of granulated sugar in modern markets in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province over the last three months has increased by 1.61% from the previous record of Rp15,500 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of granulated sugar in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2022 with an increase of 4%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2017 with a decrease of -11.11%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Bangka Belitung Islands Province show ten commodities decreased and nine others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Fresh Broiler Chicken, Chicken Meat, Medium-Sized Garlic, Chili Peppers, Garlic, Super I Quality Rice, Curly Red Chili Peppers, Red Chili Peppers, Red Chili, and Rice.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the last month in Bangka Belitung Islands Province:

2. Fresh Broiler Chicken per kg: Rp46,900 per kg (down 7.04%)
3. Chicken Meat per kg: Rp46,900 per kg (down 7.04%)
4. Medium II Quality Rice per kg: Rp15,700 per kg (up 3.63%)
5. Grade 1 Beef per kg: Rp167,200 per kg (up 139.89%)
6. Medium-Sized Garlic per kg: Rp57,700 per kg (down 1.7%)
7. Chicken Eggs per kg: Rp34,500 per kg (unchanged)
8. Medium I Quality Rice per kg: Rp15,950 per kg (unchanged)
9. Medium-Sized Shallots per kg: Rp53,200 per kg (up 7.04%)
