Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 26,570 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully administered to 26,570 individuals (130.26% of the target), and for the second dose, 125.98% or 25,270 individuals were vaccinated.
For public sector workers, the target was 319,780 individuals. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 290,560 individuals (90.86% of the target), and the second dose reached 84.4%, or 269,900 individuals.
For the elderly, the target was 258,550 individuals. For the first dose, 162,360 individuals were vaccinated (62.8% of the target). The second dose reached only 26.95%, or 69,680 individuals.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 2.15 million individuals. For the first dose, vaccination was reportedly administered to 1.57 million individuals (75.13% of the target). The second dose reached only 37.69%, or 767,110 individuals.
Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years. The target in this region was 402,120 individuals. For the first dose, 355,800 individuals were vaccinated (88.48% of the target). The second dose reached only 59.5%, or 239,280 individuals.
