Several districts/cities in Gorontalo province still record a relatively low second-dose vaccination rate compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Gorontalo Regency, Pohuwato Regency, and Bone Bolango Regency.
As of today, these three regions have only completed 293,650 second doses out of the targeted 562,530 vaccine recipients in their vaccination program.
Gorontalo Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination rate in this region has reached 51.5%. This is the lowest among the six other districts/cities. As of today, the first-dose vaccination rate has reached 81.38%, covering 428,810 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city targets 316,700 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Gorontalo last week was 1,966 participants. Currently, there are 85,242 doses of vaccine in stock.
Next is Pohuwato Regency. This region has the second-lowest second-dose vaccination rate. With a target of 116,070 vaccine recipients, 52.54% or 60,978 recipients have been vaccinated with the second dose.
The first-dose vaccination rate has reached 76.94%, covering 152,330 vaccine recipients.
Bone Bolango Regency is ranked third. With a target of 129,760 vaccine recipients, 53.6% or 69,557 recipients have received their second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Bone Bolango last week was 1,244 participants. Currently, there are 23,460 doses of vaccine in stock.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination rate in Gorontalo has reached 87.27%, covering 818,920 vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination rate has reached 55.55%, covering 521,330 vaccine recipients.
