Several districts/cities in Southeast Sulawesi province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include North Buton Regency, Muna Regency, and Wakatobi Regency.
As of yesterday's vaccination program data, these three regencies have only completed 94,622 second doses out of the expected target of 299,820 vaccine recipients.
North Buton Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region only reached 30.81%. This is the lowest compared to the other 17 districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first-dose vaccination has reached 60.95%, or 46,268 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city targets 50,119 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in North Buton was 724 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 13,492 doses.
Next is Muna Regency. For the second dose, this area has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 163,270 vaccine recipients, only 31.5% or 51,427 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first-dose vaccination has reached 70.39%, or 167,520 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Muna was 1,986 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 35,032 doses.
Wakatobi Regency is ranked third. With a target of 86,431 vaccine recipients, only 32.11% or 27,754 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Wakatobi was 1,156 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 26,708 doses.
Regarding the provincial-level vaccination achievement, the total first-dose vaccination in Southeast Sulawesi has reached 77.73%, or 1.56 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 44.87%, reaching 898,500 vaccine recipients.
