The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 298 districts/cities with complete vaccination coverage above the national average, currently recorded at 74.37 percent as of Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 141.37 percent are Yogyakarta City, Central Jakarta City, Denpasar City, South Jakarta City, and Magelang City, with values of 215.32 percent, 203.35 percent, 155.26 percent, 154 percent, and 141.37 percent respectively.
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination coverage in most districts/cities outside Java. A daily increase in complete vaccination rates compared to previous days was recorded in 315 districts/cities.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Denpasar City, Padang Panjang City, and Badung Regency, with complete vaccination rates of 155.26 percent, 131.02 percent, and 122.96 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
