TIME magazine assessed the performance of companies in the Asia-Pacific region based on three major dimensions: employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sustainability transparency.
Twenty-one Indonesian companies with headquarters in Indonesia made the list of the 500 best Asia-Pacific companies in 2025.
In collaboration with Statista, TIME assessed employee satisfaction using 2023 survey data involving approximately 50,000 employees in the Asia-Pacific region.
Financial performance was assessed using company financial data compiled by Statista. Companies included in the assessment had minimum revenue of US$100 million in 2023 and showed positive revenue growth from 2021-2023.
Sustainability transparency was assessed based on Statista data on the fulfillment of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. All data were processed into a final score on a scale of 0-100.
