South Sumatra Food Prices, Week of April 13th: What's the Price of Raw Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (13/4/2025) at 12:52 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, pure beef, red chilies, shallots, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, medium rice, SPHP rice, chicken eggs, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp6,800 (14.77%), reaching Rp52,840 per kg. Milkfish saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp670 (2.38%), reaching Rp27,509 per kg.
