The price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in East Kalimantan Province has increased by 21.94% over the past month.

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in East Kalimantan Province is recorded at Rp65,850. This price is down Rp2,900 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp54,000.

Meanwhile, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in East Kalimantan over the last three months has increased by 76.31% from the previously recorded price of Rp37,350.

The record increase in the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2019 with an increase of 69.06%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2025 with a decrease of -27.84%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Kalimantan show six commodities decreased and 25 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium I Quality Rice, Super I Quality Rice, Super II Quality Rice, and Green Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.
