The number of motor vehicles in Binjai City, North Sumatra, reached 292,790 units in April 2025.
Based on data from the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri)'s Electronic Registration and Identification (ERI) system on Friday (April 18th), the number of motorcycles in Binjai City was 258,480 units.
Furthermore, the number of passenger cars was 24,960 units, followed by 9,097 units of goods vehicles, 212 buses, and 38 special vehicles.
Among the regencies/cities in the province, the city with the highest number of motor vehicles is Medan City (3.69 million units). The regency/city with the lowest number is West Nias Regency (1,501 units).
