Kredivo, an online lending application (pinjol), won the Top Brand Award 2022. This financing fintech achieved the highest Top Brand Index (TBI) score among other pinjol applications, reaching 38.2%.
Akulaku ranked second in this year's Top Brand Award with a TBI score of 35.8%, followed by Kredit Pintar in third place with a TBI score of 15.3%.
Meanwhile, the pinjol application Modalku was in fourth place with a TBI score of 5.1%, followed by Uang Teman with a TBI score of 1.9%.
Online loans are indeed a solution for people needing quick funds. However, choosing a pinjol requires selectivity to avoid scams.
The Top Brand Award 2022 assessment was based on a survey of 8,500 respondents spread across 15 major cities in Indonesia. Respondents consisted of 6,000 random samples, 1,700 booster samples, and 800 B2B booster samples.
The sampling method for random and random retail samples was multistage area random sampling. Booster samples were selected using purposive sampling.
Three parameters were used in this assessment: First, Top of Mind, or the first product brand mentioned by respondents. Second, Last Usage, or the last product brand used by respondents. Third, Future Intention, or respondents' desire to use that brand's product in the future.
The Top Brand Index score was then obtained by calculating the weighted average of each parameter.
